Jared
Plante
May 29, 1977 — Jan 6, 2014
Jared "Jarebear" Plante of Town of Newburgh, NY entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2014 in Newburgh. He was 36 years old. The son of the late Ernest J. Plante, Jr. and Janice (Dembinski-Plante) Rauzon and Keith (Razz) Rauzon, Jared was born on May 29, 1977 in Southbridge, MA. A 22 year resident of the Newburgh Area, Jared was a recovery agent for U.S Recovery and worked for Tommy's Towing. He was a member of Everyday Angels and CLMC Motorcycle Club. "Jared, as we begin to write your story the first thoughts that come to mind is the unconditional love you always gave to your family. As well as the extended love, kindness, respect, loyalty, generosity to not only family, but to friends and even strangers. We couldn't be more proud. You referred many people to us, your parents, when you felt someone struggling though tough times and some we took in and guided and set them free." He was proud of his family of origin. Our large blended family brought more siblings, grandparents, nieces and nephews whom you welcomed openly. A beautiful big "Teddy Bear" with a heart and soul is being remembered and expressed through calls, social media of all the people he has touched, which is countless. We will get through them all in time. He lived life to the fullest and his way, yet reassured us how much he loved all of us with every conversation. Despite the hurt in his heart with the loss of his Dad when he was 21 and with his son, Avery living in Buffalo, he managed to stay positive and had a smile on face and big strong hugs to give freely. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot Fan. He loved his Road King Harley and made sure everyone got their annual ride. He followed "Phish" everywhere. His love for music fed his soul through all genres, from Old Country to today's Country music, pop, R&B, Jazz, even Polkas. He sang Lynard Skynard's "Simple Man" to me, his mother, at a concert we went to. That was him all the way. He professed his Faith out loud many times, that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior and God is his Heavenly Father. Let us honor Jared's celebration of life with believing that. "Because as we go through this senseless tragedy and the way whoever did this and took our Jared has not been our number one focus, but the light of love and life how Jared shared himself through the quality of that life willingly and openly and how he exemplified that." "Your hugs will be missed, but your infectious smile, laugh and personality will forever live within us. We are made of the Holy Spirit and you our Dear Son had a warm and gentle spirit who would not harm anyone. Rest in Peace our Love, with those who have greeted you. We will see you again one day." Jared leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and father, Janice and Keith (Razz) Rauzon of Newburgh; his son Avery Ernest Plante of Buffalo, NY; his grandparents Mary Plante of Putnam, CT and Margaret and Emmett Heinrich of Salt Lake City, Utah; his siblings: Christen L. Dederick of Newburgh, NY, Carrie and her husband Mark DeLorenzo of Gardiner, NY, Jessica and her husband Ken O'Connor of Danielson, CT, Greg Plante of Putnam, CT, Brooke Peters of Salt Lake City, Utah and Ashlee Potter Rauzon of Salt Lake City, Utah; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who adored him from Massachusetts Connecticut, New York, Florida and Utah. He was predeceased by his father Ernest J. Plante, Jr, his grandfather Ernest J. Plante, Sr., and his maternal grandparents: Viola and Joseph Dembinski and Eileen (Dwyer) Dembinski of MA, and his brother Tyler E. Rauzon. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 pm on Saturday, January 11 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to the Avery Ernest Plante Fund, 155 Mt. Airy Road, New Windsor, NY 12553.
