Obituary

Amelia M. Ghiotti, 102, of Marlboro passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023.

Born on February 7, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Dellamarco and Louise Pepicelli.

Amelia was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues. She was a devoted Yankee fan and loved to watch the Yankees and her game shows in her "TV clothes." She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word jumbles, and word searches. She was a card shark too. She loved to play Kings in the Corner (especially with her great grandson) Golf, May I and recently she started playing Uno.

Amelia lived a full life and active life until her death at 102, Amelia stopped driving when she turned 100. So as long as she had a ride she was ready and willing to get together.
Amelia loved to spend the holidays with family or watch her great grandson play sports. The snow storm in March 2022 couldn't keep her away from celebrating her great grandson's confirmation. That is the spirit Amelia had and probably why she lived a long life. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Amelia married the love of her life, Albert E. Ghiotti, on July 14, 1946. Amelia is survived by her son, Eugene Ghiotti of Hugenot and her grandchildren Dawnmarie Mazzella of Pine Bush (Husband Luigi), Eugene Ghiotti Jr of Middletown (fiancee Catherine), Joseph Ghiotti of Middletown, Brie Ghiotti of Newburgh, and her great-grandson Nicholas Mazzella of Pine Bush.

In addition to her parents Amelia is predeceased by her husband Albert E. Ghiotti and her son Albert J. Ghiotti.

At the request of the family services will be private
