Obituary

Andrew Jonathon Peet
Born September 26, 1988 ~ 34 years old
Andrew Jonathon Peet, loving son of Parry A. Peet and Debra A. Peet and best friend to sister Amanda L. Peet passed unexpectedly on May 26.
Andrew was a native of Newburgh, NY and in 2006 graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. For the past five years he built a beautiful life in Austin, Texas. He left us doing what he loved to do best, riding his motorcycle.
Andrew had a sharp mind and a quick wit. He was an avid reader with a passion for the outdoors. Andrew loved hiking, camping, canoeing, swimming, scouting and his dog Sammy.
Andrew was the anchor of his family and always held them close. He was a loving and protective big brother and adoring son who brought the greatest joy to his entire family.
Andrew reminded us to live life to its fullest. Don't sweat the small stuff and take a breath when needed. He lived simply and enjoyed every moment of life.
Andrew leaves behind his heartbroken grandparents Michael and Joyce Poponiak, Nelson and Helen Peet (deceased), Ed and Zee McClintock, Cynthia Neal-Harris; his aunts and uncles, Lisa (Poponiak) and Rick Angeloni, Catherine and Palmer Peet, Melinda and Paul Peet, Paula Peet and Lorrie Arell, Scott McClintock, John Riley McClintock and Howard Wayne Harris; his cousins Michael Angeloni, Courtney Peet, Taylor Peet and Noel Peet; and beloved girlfriend Morgan Carroll.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to these causes dear to Andrew's heart; The Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/) or The Outdoor Alliance for Kids (https://outdoorsallianceforkids.org/).
