Angel Hernandez, Sr.

Angel Hernandez Sr., age 83, of Walden, NY passed away peacefully on November 2 surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 31, 1941 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Victor and Margarita (DeJesus) Hernandez.

Angel is survived by his children, Abel and Sol Hernandez of Walden, NY, and Angel and Melissa Hernandez of Plattekill, NY; his beloved grandchildren: Erica, Tiffany, Sierra, and Gabriel Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Saul and Aliya Nieves and Christopher Ward; and his siblings and best friends: Sonia Castro, Obed Hernandez, Frankie Hernandez, and Christina Hernandez. He was predeceased by his wife, Hilda Hernandez; parents, Victor and Margarita Hernandez; and his brother, Victor Junior Hernandez.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7 from 5 - 7 PM. A funeral home service will take place on Friday, November 8 at 11 AM, followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Mausoleum.
