Angelina Ramalio of Newburgh, NY entered eternal rest on July 28, 2023. Angelina was born in
New York, NY on December 30, 1940 to the late Angelo and Camilla Cosacco. Angelina
graduated from high school in New York, NY in June of 1957. She grew up in the Bronx on 181 st
and Arthur Ave with her beloved brother Ralph. Angelina spent the next 6 decades with the love
of her life, Freddie. They went on to raise 3 children; 2 girls and 1 boy. While raising the
children, Angelina had an established career in finance at Keller Hospital in West Point, NY
where she was one of the highest-ranking civilians for 32 years. She was retired from West
Point for a few short years and went on to work at Newburgh Housing Authority in Newburgh,
NY for 10 years before she finally retired. Once she retired from the Newburgh Housing
Authority in May of 2014 she took care of her two great grandchildren, Alivia and Brody. Angie and
Freddie traveled the world together on various vacations and went to as many casinos as
possible throughout their travels. They enjoyed fine Italian dinning together as Italian food was
her favorite. Angie was blessed to have 5 grandchildren who she adored with all of her heart.
Angelina was a lifelong catholic parishioner of St. Patrick's/Our Lady of the Lake parish.
She is survived by her spouse, Frederick Ramalio and three children Camille (Walter) Johnson,
Catherine Betz and John (Sabrina) Ramalio; grandchildren, Amanda (Joel) Vanwieren, Nicholas
(Christina) Johnson, Angelica and Giavonna Betz, Zoe Ramalio and (Step) Douglas Toth; great-grandchildren, Aliva and Brody Vanwieren and Meadow Johnson; great-grandpets, Roxxie and Remy
Betz, Kimber and Whiskers Vanwieren, and Kiki Johnson. Angelina is predeceased by her parents
Angelo and Camilla Cosacco, brother Ralph Cosacco, cousin Mary (Steve) Sansone and Leona and
Harold Kauffman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 4-7pm at Brooks Funeral Home
located at 481 Gidney Ave Newburgh, NY 12550. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
August 1, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of the Lake Chapel located at 433 South Plank Road
Newburgh, NY 12550 followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Mausoleum located at 5468 Route
9W Newburgh, NY 12550.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that everyone please make a donation in her name to a charity of their
choice as Angie was a very generous person.

Angelina "Angie" Marie Ramalio will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her love for family,
friends and Co-workers, laughing, and her warm presence will forever live on in the hearts of
those she touched.
