On June 17, 2023, Anna "Maria" Aleman a 70-year-old resident ofMaybrook, NY passed away peacefully at home with family members byher side.Maria was born on December 23, 1952 in Manhattan, NY to Filipeand Regina Rodriguez. She worked in the medical profession in theManhattan area before relocating to Upstate New York. She was astrong, compassionate woman who touched the hearts of anyone whohad the great opportunity to meet her. She was very outgoing with aheart of gold and was always ready to help in any way she could. Shewas a devout Catholic who loved spending time with family, listening tomusic, dancing, swimming, and tinkering with arts & crafts.She is survived by her mother Regina Rodriguez of Manhattan,and her loving partner of 20-years John W Allen Jr. of Maybrook. She isalso survived by her siblings Susana Rubio, Diana Melendez, RosalindaLynch, Felipe Rodriguez and Victor Rodriguez. Her children DominicValentine, Jennifer Valentine, William "Willie" Aleman and CrystalAleman. Stepchildren Tashianna Romer and Shanda Cruz. Maria hasmany loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephewsof all ages.In memory of Maria's love for plants, the family is asking foranyone who wishes to plant or hang one at home that reminds them ofher.
