The family of Antionette J Sarra is saddened to announce her passing on March 1st, 2026. She was 88 years old.
She grew up in and graduated High School in Marlboro N.Y before eventually meeting her husband Joseph Sarra and moving to Newburgh NY where they raised their family and she lived until her passing.
Toni was a loving mother to her three children Joseph, Linda and Christopher. She was a steady influence on them throughout their lives and was there for them whenever they needed her. She cared deeply about her family before anything else. That love carried over to her grandchildren. Joseph, Cassidy, Sharon and Shane who were her whole world while they were growing up and they created many lifetime memories together. Toni was a very good cook and enjoyed preparing home cooked meals for her family. She cared about her family and her consistency and thoughtfulness showed daily. She enjoyed watching old Westerns and watching the Knicks and Yankees with her husband Joe. She also loved attending all of her grandkid's games and functions over the years as they grew up. Above everything else, family was always most important to her.
Antionette was a homemaker most of her life and also worked at West point in the administration office where she spent 20 yrs before retiring.
Antionette was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Sarra, her son Christopher Sarra, her parents James and Agnes DeSantis and her sisters Mary Crisci and Margaret Dina.
She is survived by her children Joseph (Starr) Sarra, Linda (Bill) Napolitano, her grandchildren Shane Sarra, Joseph Napolitano, Sharon Sarra and Cassidy Napolitano. Toni is also survived by her sisters Harriet (Tom) Farino, Ann Marie Ghiotti her God son Dominic (Bonnie) Crisci and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life and private ceremony will be held at a future date.
