Barbara Betz

August 17, 1938 ~ March 5, 2024

Barbara "Bobbi" Betz, wife, mother, grandmother, and enthusiastic bird watcher has passed away at the age 85.
Barbara passed peacefully away on March 5th 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born August 17 1938, daughter of the late Chester and Eleanor Kurz.
A life long resident of Newburgh NY, Bobbi spent her life taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren and enjoying the Hudson River as part  of the Cornwall Yacht Club. She loved watching her hummingbirds through her kitchen window and planning for her beautiful Christmas tree decorations every year.
Barbara was proceeded in her death by her husband Robert J Betz, brother Edward Kurz and sisters Helen Jollie, Betty Lee, Eleanor McMillen and Joan Maher.
Barbara is survived by her children Heidi Gozza, Tammy Grube, Chester Betz and Stacy Betz and her 6 grandchildren Erica Gozza, Kyle Sheehan, Angelica Betz, Giavonna Betz, Hailey Messina and Ava Messina. She also leaves behind four beloved sisters Linda Dietz, Ramona Millazzo, Carol Heinz, Doris Rue, brother Chester Kurz and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

To have known her was to love her.
