Betteann "Betty" Magliato, 85, of New Windsor passed away January 31, 2025, surrounded by family.

She was born on January 13, 1940, in Newburgh, NY to Louis and Elizabeth Ponessa. She was married in 1958 to the love of her life Joseph Magliato and was married for 67 years.

Betty loved to cook, the beach both the Jersey Shore and Hallendale, FL. She loved to shop, travel and going to the casino. Everyone loved her cooking.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty loved caring for her grandchildren, they were her world.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph of New Windsor, daughters Jennie Knapp (Thomas Knapp) of Newburgh, Kim Miyoshi(James Dellinger) of Maybrook, grandchildren Thomas Knapp and wife Angela of Wallkill, Steven Knapp and wife Trish of Port Jervis, Nicole Simpson and husband JT of Newburgh and Gabriella Miyoshi of Maybrook. She was proud of them all. Amazing great grandchildren Charolette, Travis and Ashton, who she adored and always made her smile.

Betty is predeceased by her parents, in-laws John and Jennie Magliato and her great grandchild, Ella Simpson.

There will be a private service for family.
