Betty Mazzochi
March 8, 1941 ~ July 30, 2024
Betty M. Mazzochi, of New Windsor, NY entered into rest peacefully on July 30, 2024 with her family by her side. The daughter of the late James Riendeau and Mary Aughavin, Betty was born on March 8, 1941, in Bronx, NY
Betty was one of a kind. Her outgoing magnetic personality made it easy for her to make friends wherever she went. Conversation came easily to her as did her sense of humor, and she loved to laugh. Betty was proud of her Irish-Catholic background and was a faithful member of St. Patricks Church in Newburgh, NY where she loved to attend Sunday mass. She loved to cook for her family and especially looked forward to Sunday dinners where family and friends would gather each week. But above all - Betty loved her family. Known to her grandchildren as "Meem", she was a devoted grandmother. Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Until we meet again…….."Bye for now".
Betty is survived by her three daughters, Lauren Headley of Aurora, CO, Jennifer Keahon of Newburgh, NY, Kerry Mann of Newburgh, NY, and her son Donald Mazzocki of New Windsor, NY: grandchildren: Liam Headley, Aidan Headley, Ryan Keahon, Katelyn Keahon, Megan Mann, Keira Mann, and Ryleigh Mann. Betty was predeceased by her husband: Donald Mazzocki in 2010, her brothers James and Kenneth Riendeau, Sisters Rosemary Ignelzi, Anne Marie Fastiggi, and twin sister Barbara Dinehart; and many nieces and nephews.
