Brian William Fish Jr. of Newburgh, died August 28, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was 18 years old. Brian was born September 6, 1994, the son of Jovan Mercado and Brian Fish, Sr. in Newburgh, NY. With his bright green eyes and his big warming smile, Brian always lit up the room. Whether you've known him for two days, or two years, he always had a way of making everyone feel special. Brian had the most beautiful soul in the world. There was no way you wouldn't instantly fall in love with him. He was a loving son, grandson, and greatest friend anyone could ever ask for. Brian leaves to cherish his memory his mother Jovan Mercado, his father Brian Fish, Sr. and his step-mother Lynn Fish; his brother Braeden Fish; his maternal grandparents Sonya and Louis Mercado; his paternal grandparents Dang and Bill Fish; his step grandparents John and Kay McCrossen; his aunts and uncles: Mark and his wife Louisa, Matthew Mercado, Natasha Mercado, Christina Pascarella Diaz, Don and Jess Fish, John and Dana McCrossen; several cousins and many friends. Brian was predeceased by his sister Brielle Fish on July 7,2013. Visitation for Brian will be held on Monday, September 2 from 2 - 7 pm at Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, September 3 at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
