Bucky Davis
January 9, 1981 ~ May 10, 2024
Guy "Bucky" Davis III passed away tragically on May 10th, 2024 to a UTV accident. He is survived by his loving spouse Michelle Davis DiPoalo; his sons Bladen, Ryker and Roxin; his step-son Tristen, wife Kaitlyn and their son Ronan; his step-son Makai and fiancé Jessica; his parents Guy Jr And Susan Davis of Matamoras, PA; his in-laws Armond and Sheila DiPoalo of Montgomery NY; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Bucky also loved his dogs Copper, Bandit and Snoopy; and cats One-Eyed Willy, Oranges, Lynx and Oreo.
Bucky grew up in Sloatsburg, NY and graduated from Suffern High School where he was a high school champion wrestler. In the early years of his career, he had belonged to Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 373. With his loving spouse Michelle, they created their business Elite Plumbing and Heating together with a close-knit group of employees in which he was very proud of.
Bucky had a deep love of the outdoors and motocross in his personal life. His favorite thing to do was travel across the country with Michelle and the kids to race at dirt bike events and spend time with their motocross family. Locally, Bucky was a Walden Playboys Motocross Club member for many years and was elected to be the treasurer for the last three years. He also had a true love of hunting, fishing, farming and riding in his UTV with his children and close friends. Often times you could find him taking long walks with his beloved dog Copper while chatting on the phone with one of his many friends.
Bucky's laugh was one that many would describe as infectious. When he entered into a room he would brighten it with his stories, sayings and a smile. Bucky was a devoted spouse, dad and businessman. He leaves behind the Elite Plumbing legacy that will be continued in his honor by the same group of employees that feel like an extended family. Bucky will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but the endless stories to share of him will always keep his memory alive.
Additionally, the family would like to thank all those around for their prayers, kind words and support. We will always carry the memory of Bucky in our hearts. Until we meet again.
