Carmine J. Fortino, Jr.

Carmine Fortino, Jr., beloved son, father, and friend, passed away on May 25, 2024, at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Born on September 17, 1942, Carmine lived life as a consummate entertainer bringing family and friends together over delicious food, music, and conversation. A hard-worker, Carmine was passionate about his years in the hospitality industry and greatly enjoyed his second career in real estate. Living in many places over his life, Carmine most loved the Florida lifestyle and eagerly embraced his relocation in 2020 from Avon, Connecticut to Boynton Beach.

Carmine was predeceased by his parents, Carmine Sr. and Lucy [Rhoda] and is survived by his daughter, Lucia Anne Powers [husband Michael Richard Powers]; his granddaughter Eleanor Rose Powers; and his cherished extended family members and friends across the country.

A memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Newburgh, NY on July 2, 2024 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
