Carnie L Boykin of Newburgh, NY enter into rest on January 31, 2022 at the age of 70. Carnie transitioned peacefully with his beloved family by his side.

Carnie was born in Clinton, NC on January 23, 1952, the son of the late Malcom Boykin and Rileymae Herring Boykin, one of the five children. Carnie love to sing and talk of the goodness of God. His favorite saying was Praise The Lord Everybody, he loved the Lord. He attended school in Clinton, NC, and was a member of New Beginners Church of Christ (DOC) of Newburgh, Pastor Patricia Murrary.

He is survived by five sons: Connie Jr. Boykin (Della), Stephon, Jermaine Boykin, Lamont Williams(Valerie) all of Newburgh, NY and Anthony Studivent of Greensboro NC; three brothers: Wilbert (Alice) Boykin of Newburgh, James (Patricia) Boykin of Albany, and Michael Boykin of Greensboro, NC; three sisters: Carrie Boykin, Julia (Jesse) Currie of Newburgh, NY and Mary Lewis of Fayetteville NC; and thirteen grandkids. He is predeceased by his parents Malcom and Rileymae Herring Boykin and sister Connie Lee. He is the beloved uncle of a host of nieces and nephews and friends, and special friend Yasmeen Brooks.

Visitation for Carnie will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 with viewing from 9:30-10:30, and Homegoing Service immediately following at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh NY.
