Celia "Marie" Julian entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, New York. The daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Vera) DiGiovanni, she was born on April 12, 1931 In New York, New York. She was 83 years old. Celia graduated from Seward Park High School, Manhattan and married her husband Frank, September 5th, 1950 in Maryland. Celia, the family matriarch, known to all as Mom, dedicated her life to her family, was greatly loved and will be forever missed. She was the most gentle, kind woman that opened her heart and home to all; she always had a place at the table for you. She enjoyed listening ta a selection of music, but most of all he Italian favorites, as well as well as, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin; an avid NY Yankee fan and loved her boy, Jeter! Celia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Julian at home; a son, Frank and his wife, Lia of Clemson, South Carolina; John of New Windsor; Alfred and Melissa of New Windsor; Richard and his wife, Liz of New Windsor; a daughter, Marie Senese and her husband, Rocco of New Hampton. Loving Grandma to many, Andrew, Amber, Anthony, Nicholas, Lindsey, Marie, Alfred, Nicole, Richard, Joseph, Kyle, Jake and Angelina. Great Grandma to Michael, Omaury, Giovanni and Alycia. Her nieces and nephews; Anthony, Linda, Alfred and Rose; her dear cousins Celia, Carol and Anthony. Celia was predeceased by her brother, Alfred DiGiovanni. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 21st 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and from 6:00-8:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Father William Scafidi will officiate. Entombment will follow immediately at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, 5468 Rt. 9W, Newburgh, New York.
