Dawn Marie Harten

August 9, 1964 ~ September 28, 2024

Today, we gained a beautiful guardian angel. Dawn Marie Harten, of Rock Tavern, sadly left us on September 28th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family and friends, after losing her battle with cancer.

Dawn was a beautiful soul, who cared unconditionally for the people around her. Like the butterflies she loved to watch, she was a free spirit, always willing to be a therapist (for a rate of 75 cents per hour) or just to have a hand to hold.

She is survived by her fiancé Michael Morano, son, Justin Harten and partner Colin Kelly, daughter Jessica Harten and husband Paulie Vilbig. Her grandchildren, Marleigh Eggelton and Benjamin Vilbig, her mother Dolores Taylor, her sisters Melissa Taylor and Laura Russell and her husband Matt Russell, as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews.

Dawn enjoyed spending her spare time with her family, crocheting, reading and spoiling her dog Harley Harten, who she treated like her own child.

A gathering to celebrate Dawn's life will be held on Sunday 10/6/24 from 3:00 pm -6:00 pm at:
