Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother

It is with profound sorrow and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Deborah A. Gines, who departed this life peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 68.

A resident of Newburgh, NY, Debbie was born on July 30, 1956. She was the devoted wife of Anthony Gines, with whom she shared a loving and enduring marriage.

Debbie was the heart and soul of her family. She was a proud and loving mother to her sons Shawn, Matthew, and Timothy, a loving and supportive mother in law to Carina and Cindy and a deeply cherished grandmother to Isabella, Chloe, and Josiah, who brought immense joy into her life.

Known for her nurturing spirit, strength, and unwavering love, Debbie created a home filled with comfort, laughter, and kindness. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether it was through her thoughtful words, gentle guidance, or the little things she did to show she cared, Debbie's love touched the lives of everyone around her.

She is survived by her husband Anthony, her sons Shawn, Matthew, and Timothy and a host of extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father Leonard, her mother Josephine, and her sister Linda.

A celebration of Deborah's life with a visitation at 11:00am - 12:00pm on Friday April 18, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, NY.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Deborah's love, strength, and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
