Deborah Thurston, 72 of Newburgh, NY, died on January 27th at Montgomery Nursing Home.  She was born January 7th, 1952 in Newburgh to the late Vincent and Louise (Santorino) DeCaterina.

Deborah grew up in Cornwall, NY, where she met her husband Robert Thurston.  They were happily married for 50 years.  She was employed with Highland Ophthalmology Associates for many years.  Deborah enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved spending time with her dog Ashley.

Deborah is survived by her devoted husband Robert and her loving daughter Brenda.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5th from 4PM-7PM at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
