Deborah K. Watson

July 6, 1964 ~ March 24, 2024

Deborah K. Watson, affectionately known as"Bobbi" by her grandchildren, was called to rest on March 24, 2024 with her wife by her side.

Born July 6, 1964 in Manhattan, NY to Hester and Robert Watson, Jr., she was the oldest of two children. Educated at Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx, Deborah grew up in the Bronx, but after meeting the love of her life she relocated to Newburgh, NY where they were later married on May 2, 2021.

Deborah loved completing jigsaw puzzles, reading, watching crime shows, HGTV, Blockbuster movies, and sports. Her favorite team was the New York Yankees.

Deborah worked for the NYPD as a school safety agent. She dedicated 23 years of her life to her career and was looking forward to retirement.

Deborah is survived by her loving wife, Deborah; children, Leah Nelson, Jeralyn and Raven Rouse, and Raymond Hunter; her mother, Hester Watson; little "big" sister, Cheryl Watson-Haskell (Kevin); nieces, Tanasia Patterson and Cheyanne Haskell; aunts, Helen Fauntleroy and Gloria Rodgers; cousins, Karen, Kathy, and Tyler Fauntleroy; seven grandchildren; her long-time friend, Susan Smalls; "work sister", Tawana Warren; and several other family and friends.

Deborah was predeceased by her father, Robert Watson, Jr. and her grandmother, Alease Watson.

A memorial visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6 from 12 - 3 PM.
