Diane Marie Lund

Diane Marie Lund of Plattekill, New York entered eternal rest on April 15, 2026, at Montefiore Moses Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

Diane was born on May 20, 1962, at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, New York, to the late Louis and Eileen Paglia (Donnelly). She was raised in the Bronx, where she spent much of her early life. Later, she relocated to Cornwall, New York with her daughter, Stephanie.

On October 26, 1998, Diane met her fiancé and lifelong companion, Israel Hernandez. Together they shared 27 years and had their son, Nicholas Israel Hernandez, who was born on March 10, 1999.

Diane dedicated herself fully to her role as a devoted housewife and loving mother to her children, Stephanie and Nicholas.

Diane was predeceased by her sister, Eileen “Sugar” Harris (Paglia). She is survived by her fiancé, Israel Hernandez; her children, Stephanie and Nicholas; her sisters, Frances Kennedy (Paglia) and Madelyn Jean Lanigan (Paglia); and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Diane will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the love she shared with those closest to her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A Funeral Home Service will be held at Brooks Funeral Home at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 21st with entombment following at the Cedar Hill Cemetery located at 5468 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550.
