Dorothy Marie Brandon, affectionately known as “Peaches,” passed away on July 13, 2026 in Newburgh, NY. She was born on January 25, 1974 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh.

Her parents were Grace Marie Pierce and James Mac Williams. She was especially close to her sister Cinnamen Thomas and her cousin Tee-Tee.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she was known for her strength, warmth, and big heart. She loved her family deeply and cherished every moment with her grandchildren. She also loved cooking, listening to Charlie Wilson, and attending church to praise God.

Peaches is survived by her mother: Grace Marie Pierce, her children: Ashley Jessup, Mohagany Small, Oriana Pegues, Monifah Blackon, Vernard Blackon, and Kalonji Blackon; and her 10 grandchildren Kaloni Clarke, Vanessa Blackmon, Freya Blackmon, Jeremiah Blackmon, Joseph Punkosdy, Zahcorrian, Nova Blackmon, Cashmere, and two twin boys. Four Sisters: Cinnamen, Kenyetta, Carmen, and Dana. Two brothers: Manny and JJ and her very close cousin/ sister; Tee Tee. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

She is predeceased by her father James Mac William, sister Anette Williams, Grandmother Ida Williams, and her favorite Uncle Henry Lee pierce aka Daddy O.

She is and is always going to be deeply loved beyond measures.

A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, August 27th from 4:00pm ~ 7:00 at the Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY.
