Eda Francis Coen McPhillips

February 17, 1935 ~ January 9, 2026

Eda Francis Coen McPhillips, 90, of New Windsor, NY passed away on January 9, 2026 in Middletown, NY.

Eda was born in Rome, Italy to Angelina Troncilito and Alberto Coen on February 17, 1935. She moved to Newburgh, NY with her mother in 1947. After attending South Junior High School, she then went to beauty school at Central Academy. She worked as a beautician owning and operating her own salon until she retired in her 80's. She married her husband William McPhillips in Newburgh, NY on July 14, 1957. They later moved to New Windsor, NY where they raised their son and daughter. Eda was a hard working woman who enjoyed cooking for and feeding her family. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and finding a good bargain on her many shopping trips. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Her memory will live on in all of them.

Eda is survived by her son Stephen McPhillips of Wallkill and daughter Kathleen Antonelli and her husband Frank Antonelli Jr. of Wallkill. Four grandchildren, Tracey McPhillips, Stephen McPhillips, Kasey Watt, and Cody Antonelli. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband William McPhillips, sister Lillian Corrieri, and brother Arthur Coen.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th from 10:00am-11:00am, with a funeral service following at Brooks Funeral Home.

A burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, New York.
