Obituary

Edna May Schiefer

April 21, 1933 ~ December 11, 2024

Edna May Schiefer, 91, a beacon of elegance and joy, passed away peacefully, reunited with her beloved husband after 67 beautiful years of marriage.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph DiRienzo & Antoinette Loguidice.

Edna was truly fabulous in every sense. She was an incredible mother to her three children Eugene, JoAnn, and Heidi, instilling in them the values of grace, generosity, and joy. Carl and Edna attended so many of their sports games in all kinds of weather. She was so loving and caring towards them since the day they were born. Edna also had a special bond with all her cherished cats over the years. Max, who brought her much comfort and companionship, misses her very much. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone around her feel special and loved, encouraging us all to embrace positivity in daily life.

Her vibrant spirit and enduring love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May we honor her legacy by striving to embody her kindness and grace.

Edna is survived by her two daughters JoAnn Marie Seymour and Heidi Edna Rightmeyer. Her sister Virginia Feola, her daughter in-law Lorrie Schiefer. Her grandchildren and their children, Edna May Meeker and husband Matt Meeker with their son Henry Dalton, Heidi Seymour  Torpey and  husband Liam Torpey,  Alexandria  Rightmeyer Heard and husband Neil Heard, Shane Rightmeyer with Paula Escobar, Christina Schiefer with sons Amari (AJ) and Julian, Kimberly Peterson with husband James and children Wyatt, Molly & Emmitt, Karl Schiefer with wife Kristen and children Elianna and Eugene Karl and Kenneth Schiefer with wife Amanda and children Layla & McKenna. Neices and nephew, Sandy Feola (beloved Goddaughter🫶🏼) Debbie Feola, and David Feola.
