Edna Weinheim

March 28, 1922 ~ February 2, 2026

Edna Weinheim of New Windsor, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026.

She was born on March 28, 1922, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Gaines and Woodie Hendricks.

On March 17, 1944, Edna married Sidney Weinheim in Nashville. Together they built a life rooted in love and family until Sidney's passing in 2013.

Edna is lovingly remembered by her daughter Carolyn Pacenza and her son Stephen Weinheim. She was a cherished grandmother to Edward Spreer, Jill Nibe, Thomas Pacenza, Jr, Jeffrey Spreer, Christopher Pacenza and Kara Weinheim. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Nicole Fallon, Patricia Spreer;  Thomas Pacenza III; Haley Pacenza; Kassidy Weinheim; Corbin Patterson and Regan Pitts;  and great great granddaughter Eliana Fallon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who held her dear.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Weinheim; her daughter Linda Spreer; her son Sidney Weinheim Jr.; her grandson Geoffrey Weinheim   her sister Olivia Leibowitz;  her brother Harry Hendricks and son-in-law Thomas Pacenza, Sr.

Edna's long life spanned more than a century of change and growth. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Vails Gate Fire Department. Through it all, she remained a steady presence for those around her. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6th from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 6:30pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, February 9 at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
