Edward C. Loper, age 60 of Bloomingburg NY entered into rest on Sunday, August 27, 2023
Edward was born in Long Island NY, Son of Edward Loper Sr. and Joanell Howey. Predeceased Joanell Arnott (Howey) mother and stepfather Robert Arnott. He married the love of his life Theresa Calabrese on Sept 24,1983. He is survived by his wife, their 3 children: son Edward Loper III 39, his girlfriend Nicole and their 2 children Natalie and Collin; daughter Michele Freudenberg (Loper) 37, husband Andrew and their 2 children Andrew III and Savannah; and daughter Kendra Loper 33, her boyfriend Charlie and their 2 children Kaylee and Emma; and his father, Ed Loper Sr and Stepmother Christina. Ed will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Ed was employed by Green Valley Onion Inc for 47 years. He was known as a jack of all trades, mechanic, electrician, plumber, carpenter, welder and confidante. He was always willing to help someone in need, and teach someone who was willing to learn a skill. Ed was a hero and a mentor who truly will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure to know him. He was a simple easy going man who did everything he could for his family without ever asking for recognition simply said just doing what a man has to do. Ed was a big Nascar fan and we all can remember him cheering on his favorite driver Dale Jarrett #88 win or lose boy he loved watching him... go baby go.
Ed's hobbies consisted of, yes Nascar, but also camping with the family every summer, spending time with his grandchildren, working hard in his garage and getting those late night snacks in at bed time (spoon clinging in a bowl) ting ting. He always seemed he had everything he wanted and needed, always content but we all who knew Ed, just wished we could of had some more time with him.
The goodbyes aren't forever its just until we see each other again. We know youll be watching over us all with love Ed.
