Eleanor H. Tadry
January 7, 1930 ~ December 31, 2022

Eleanor H. Tadry, age 92, passed away in the early hours of December 31 surrounded by family. Eleanor was born January 7, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Katie and Karl Zeller. She was predeceased by one brother Harold Zeller.
Eleanor grew up and lived in Newburgh, NY most of her life. At the age of nineteen, she went to nursing school in California to become a registered nurse. Eleanor worked most of her career at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY.While in California, Eleanor met and married Robert S. Palmer and together they had three sons; Ronald S. Palmer who resides in Arizona, Darrell L. Palmer (Newburgh, NY) , and Brian D. Palmer (Marlborough, Massachusetts).
On June 10, 1973, Eleanor married Raymond S. Tadry Sr. who had four children of his own; Raymond S. Tadry Jr. (Sterling, Massachusetts), Michael H. Tadry (Middletown, NY), Bonnie M. Bucci (Wallkill, NY) and Peter A. Tadry (deceased). Eleanor and Raymond united the two families together and jokingly referred to the entire family as the "Tadry Bunch" after the well known sitcom "The Brady Bunch".
Ironically, Eleanor was called home to our Lord and Savior exactly four years to the day that her loving husband of almost 45 years of marriage was called home.
Eleanor is survived by her loving children and their families, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom, we know that we can longer have you here, but we are happy knowing that the angels have reunited you with our loving father, your husband Raymond Tadry, Sr.
A private family graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY in honor of Eleanor's wishes will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
