Elisabeth "Liesl" Juritsch of Nashua, NH died Monday February 19, 2024 at Southern NH Medical Center. Liesl was born June 29, 1935 in Gant, Hungary; daughter of the late Joseph Siklos and the late Elisabeth Siklos (Zimmermann). She was the beloved wife of the late Anton Juritsch, mother of Rosemary Juritsch, Christine Dossopoulos and her husband Tommy and Cynthia Paino and her husband Rich; Oma of Emma Kestler, Aly Paino and Niki Halbig and her husband Aaron; great grandmother of August and Indiana Halbig; sister of Resl Altvater, the late Frances Rohrbacher, the late Gregor Siklos, the late Maria Siklos and the late Joseph Siklos; sister in law of Georgia Siklos, John Juritsch, Aplon and Wendell Brenner, Hedwig Sohl and Rosie Juritsch; and companion of Franz Lang. Liesl is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Liesl immigrated to NYC with her family in 1951. On September 10, 1955 she married Anton Juritsch at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Bronx, NY. A woman of faith she most recently attended Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua, NH. Liesl was always happy, kind and sweet. She loved people and always saw the best in everyone. She was an accomplished seamstress, cook and baker. She loved to entertain and was the consummate host. In local German Clubs she was often dancing the Polka or the Waltz. In later years she took up line dancing. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by many. Memorial contributions may be made to Caritas Internationalis.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Monday, February 26 from 4 - 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, February 27 at 10 AM, followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Mausoleum.
