Ella Lynn Simpson

Ella passed away at home with her loving family in Newburgh on January 31st 2024. The daughter of James and Nicole Simpson, she was born on May 9th 2020 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Ella was the toughest most amazing person I have ever met. She has taught us so much in the short amount of time she had on this earth. She showed us how to be strong, and how to fight for ourselves and our family. She was always the light at the end of our tunnel. She melted every heart she came in contact with.

She loved to be sang and talked to. Her favorite song was "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins. Ella was such a beautiful soul, and will be missed by so many.

Ella survived by her parents, James and Nicole; her brothers, Travis (2) and Ashton (8 months); and her grandparents, Tom and Jennie Knapp.

Ella's celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
