Today, our hearts are broken as we mourn the unexpected loss of our beloved Erica Tori Marini, who was the most incredible daughter, sister, and aunt. She was born on October 22, 2002 in New York City and departed us, far too soon, on June 20, 2023, in Washingtonville, NY. During her twenty years with us, she will be remembered as the most beautiful and genuine person who loved her family and friends dearly. She gave so generously to those she cared for, without a second thought. Generosity was her gift. If Erica loved you, she loved you, and time spent full of laughter and creating lasting memories was time not wasted. With that, her spirit was most filled with joy when she was surrounded by those she held near and dear.
Erica was full of sunshine, infectious laughter, silly accents and an overall enthusiasm for life itself. She had varying interests and curiosities, from chic fashion, enjoying all genres of music and most of all, dancing. Our girl loved the spotlight on the dance floor. Erica had many aspirations including but not limited to travel and entrepreneurship. She was loved by many and that love is one that will endure for the rest of our lives.
Erica is survived by her father, Eligio Marini Jr., mother, Esther Marini, older sister, Cynthia Malko, niece, Alina Malko and her large extended family. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love and spirit. We are so grateful for the time, laughter, and love we shared with Erica. We invite all friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Erica's remarkable spirit to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the love and laughter she brought to our lives.
Visitation and a Celebration of Erica's Life will be held on Saturday, June 24th 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh NY 12550 between the hours of 1pm-4pm.
