Frank Louis DiFiore, born on September 8, 1927, in Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at the age of 97. One of eight siblings, Frank was the proud son of Italian immigrants. His mother hailed from Cosenza, located in Calabria, Italy, and together with his father, they instilled in him a strong sense of duty and hard work.

Frank dedicated 23 years of his life to serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he exemplified commitment and integrity. After retiring from the military, he continued his service to the community with a 20-year career at the United States Postal Service.

An adventurer at heart, Frank spent his free time traveling cross-country in his RV, a vehicle fondly recognized by all who knew him. In his later years, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, feeding birds and squirrels near his home.

Reserved by nature but always kind to those he knew, Frank will be remembered for his quiet strength, dedication, and gentle spirit.

Frank did not leave any immediate family behind but will be deeply missed by the friends who knew him. A heartfelt thank you is extended to Park Manor Rehab, whose compassionate care made his last months of life comfortable.

A private service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the community is encouraged to perform small acts of kindness in his memory.
