Geraldine Schmidt (Geri) 84 years old
of Newburgh, NY passed away on February 7, 2025.
Geri was born in Somerville, MA on January 17, 1941 to Mary and Frank Cabral. She resided for most of her life in Newburgh, NY. She was sister to Michelle Barrett (Dave), a housewife, and loving mother to Donna and Jill.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years,  Bill Schmidt; her parents, Mary and Frank Cabral; brother, Frank (Cubby) Cabral; and sister, Jeanette Cabral.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Kidd and Jill (Billy) Thorpe; grandchildren, Austin Kidd, and Tyler and Alexa Thorpe; and close friends, Margie and Walter Stewart.
Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 2:00 PM
