Hannah R. Thompson, of Poughkeepsie, NY, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was 82. The daughter of the late Almer and Martha (Leak) Thompson, she was born on May 3, 1938 in North Carolina.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Thompson and Charles Thompson; and grandchildren, Jorden, Aisa, Tyrone, Deja and Sada. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Jean Butler, Carole Tredwell, Aaron Thompson, George Thompson and Eddie Thompson.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A graveside service will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
