Hattie Mae Donovan nee Young was born in Cornwall, NY on May 18, 1928 to Merilla and Samuel Young. Hattie was married to the late Harold W. Donovan for 50 years until his death in 1995 and they raised four children together.

Hattie had an amazing sense of humor and was a wonderful cook. There was no smell like the smell of her kitchen during the holidays.

Hattie was predeceased by her husband, Harold W.; their daughter, Shirley; their daughter, Nancy; their son, Harold J. (Butch); her brother, Samuel; grandsons: Jeffrey and Robert; as well as her parents, other siblings, and in laws. Hattie is survived by her daughter, Kathy L. Campbell and her husband William; granddaughters: Amy Santiago Donnery (John), and Meredith Santiago (Charles); grandson, Virgil Donovan (Natasha); three great grandchildren; as well as many loving nieces.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2024 at Wallkill Valley Cemetery 1011 State Route 52, Walden at 11AM.
