Helen Marinzel, of Wallkill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the ParkerJewish Institute in New Hyde Park, New York. She was 78.Daughter of the late Joseph Marinzel and Mary Boiz Marinzel, Helen was born on June 8, 1944in Brooklyn, New York. As a teenager, Helen moved to Wallkill where she lived happily for therest of her life.Helen was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh. Shewas a caring and generous person and was much beloved by her family and friends.Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 10 from 4 - 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, May 11 at 10 AM, followed by burial at St. Francis Cemetery.
