In Loving Memory Of
Helen E. Paschall
September 16, 1952 ~ November 4, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen "Cosha" Paschall, who left this world on November 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. After courageously battling Alzheimer's for many years and cancer for the past three months, she is finally at rest and pain free.
Helen was born on September 16, 1952 in Suffern, NY. She married the love of her life, the late Bryan "Chop" Paschall on July 24, 1971. Together they built a life that centered around love and family. Helen loved spending time with her family. Whether it was cooking family dinners, singing and dancing to her favorite songs or taking family vacations to the beach! She loved building elaborate sandcastles with her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world.
Helen loved animals. She spent a lot of time on her porch watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks she fed. She loved coloring, making flower arrangements and painting. She bedazzled anything and everything with glitter, sparkle and shine. If it lit up or sparkled, she loved it! She loved to have fun - especially playing slot machines and doing scratch-offs!
Even after Alzheimer's started stealing her memories, she never lost her ability to love. Her strength, grace and sense of humor shone through every stage of her journey. In her final months, while facing cancer, she was so strong and never complained.
Helen leaves behind her daughter, Stacy Grammas, and her husband Jerome; her two sons, Bryan Paschall, and his wife Trish, Michael Paschall and his girlfriend Lillian Rodriguez; her granddaughter, Brittany Grammas and her boyfriend AJ Perer; 6 grandsons, Dylan Grammas, Wesley, Andrew, Colby, Chase and Lucas Paschall; her sisters, Patricia Collins, Carol Brush, Rose Werner, and her husband Frederick Werner; her brother, Michael Zukoski; nephew, Jason Brush and his fiancé Janine Pullar; many nieces and nephews and beloved in-laws.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bryan, and her parents Michael and Hilda.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 2:00pm-5:00pm with a service to begin at 4:30pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.
Helen will be missed so deeply by all that knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her presence will always be felt - in the memories she created, the lessons she taught and the loved she shared.
