Helen T. Vitolo, formerly of Maybrook, NY, passed away peacefully beside her beloved daughter on Jan 12, 2024, in Daytona Beach, FL. The eldest daughter of the late Theresa Cavanaugh, Helen was born on August 7, 1935, in New York, NY. She is predeceased by loving husband Joseph D. Vitolo, loving son Martin J. Vitolo and loving grandson Brian D. Murphy.

Helen was a family matriarch, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who made everyone feel loved and welcomed. She was a professional homemaker who took pride in making others happy and caring for them. She has left us all with a lifetime of cherished memories and recipes to continue on her legacy.

She is survived by sister Theresa Barlow of Palm Coast, FL, daughter Patricia A. Murphy and husband David M. Murphy of Newburgh, NY, grandson Martin M. Murphy and fiancé Francesca DiSpirito of Queens, NY, granddaughter Patricia A. Rivera and husband Juan E. Rivera of Palm Coast, FL, great-grandchildren Jace, Luke and Leo Rivera of Palm Coast, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 17 from 4 - 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Plattekill on Thursday, January 18 at 10:45 AM, followed by burial at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx.
