James A. Minard, Jr.

James A. Minard Jr. "Jimmy", passed away at home on Tuesday June 20th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy was born November 30th, 1961, in Newburgh, NY. He was the son of Marilyn Ciaromboli Minard and the late James "Skip" Minard. Jimmy was predeceased by his younger brother Billy.
Jimmy attended Newburgh schools and graduated from Newburgh Free academy in 1979. Jimmy was a steamfitter and a member of local 373 for 40 years. He valued all the friendships he made throughout the years. He loved his family and the Minnesota Vikings. Fall Sundays were his favorite time of year because it combined both. Jimmy also enjoyed fishing, cooking and listening to music.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 40 years Laura Minard; two daughters, Chelsea Minard and Holly Minard; one son, James Minard; Olivia Van Meter; two grandsons, Elijah Wilson-Minard, Kalvin Bicsak; and one granddaughter, Paisley Rose; two sisters, Belinda Addison, and Grace Minard; two step-brothers, Mike Ramos and JR Ramos; step-sister, Mary Lou Goodman; step-father, Paul; in-laws, Sue and Steve; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Brooks Funeral Homeon Monday, June 26 from 4 - 7 PM. A funeral home service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 6:30 PM.
