Javon "Potter" Rich, 29, of Newburgh, an associate for Polo Ralph Lauren and life-long area resident, entered into rest on Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was 29 years old. The son of Darell Jackson and the late Deshelle Rich, Javon was born on November 2, 1988 in Westchester. His Foster-parents, Michael Burks Williams and Sharina Williams Javon survive. His wife, Christina Kaiser, survives Javon at home. Javon was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. Javon was a loving Father, Son, Uncle, Nephew and cousin. He loved to cook and spend time with his family-he loved his music! In addition to his loving wife, Christina Javon leaves to cherish his memory his son, Javon L. Rich Jr., his father, Darell Jackson; siblings, Shonte Rios of Newburgh, Shameia, Danielle, Leshelle, Michael, Sarah Flemming and other Sisters and Brothers; Foster Brothers and Sister, Starla, Michael, Marquis, Shade Burks and Soria Wiliams; a special Aunt, Hernetta Rich Murry and a host of nieces and nephew, Uncles and cousins. In addition to his Mother, Deshelle, Javon was predeceased by his Grandma Gertha Burks Rich. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Friday, June 15 at Best Temple Church of God in Christ, 111 South Street, Newburgh. A Funeral Service will follow and be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will follow in Calvary, New Windsor, NY.
