Jeanne M. Allen

Jeanne Allen of Montgomery Nursing Home passed away January 19, 2024.

She was born on October 6, 1929 in Syracuse, New York before she moved to Rochester, New York as a child. In her later years, she moved to Washingtonville, New York.

Her parents were Charles Keller and Lillian Kelly, and she was an only child.

She married Charles F. Allen on July 30, 1949 and was married for 69 years. He predeceased her on November 26, 2018. She also had a son, Gary J. Allen, who predeceased her on June 25,1976.

She is survived by her three children: a daughter, Karen J. Keen and her husband Donald, two sons Charles W. Allen and his wife Kelley, and Terry R. Allen; six grandchildren: Kellie, Donna, Christopher, Steven, Shawn, and Tammy; along with several great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6 from 1 - 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a local animal shelter.
