Jeanne Sabo

Jeanne H. Sabo passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 27, 2019. She was 89 years old. A life-long resident of Newburgh, NY, she met and married her loving husband, John J. Sabo on November 8, 1952. She worked as a bookkeeper right out of high school at William A. Smith Insurance on Broadway in Newburgh, NY.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Monica Cole and husband Robert Cole of Clayton, NC, Deidre Tarsio and husband Anthony Tarsio of Newburgh, NY, and John Sabo of Newburgh, NY. Her grandchildren, Lauren Cole and Alex Mize of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Cole of Palm Beach, FL, Jennifer Romano and husband John Romano of Charleston, SC and Lindsay Tomanelli and husband Anthony Tomanelli of Newburgh, NY. Great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Mize of Atlanta, GA and Lucille "Lucy" Romano of Charleston, SC.
She was a member of the Newburgh Golden Age Club, loved to dance and loved a Mc Donald's quarter pounder!
Jeanne was a great mother and even better grandma. She would do anything for her family, and she will be missed greatly.
