It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette Cush, on Friday September 7th 2018. She was born on December 17th 1952, after being raised in the Bronx; she married and moved upstate to Newburgh in 1990.She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ken Cush, as well as their daughters, Christina, Samantha, and Jessica. She spent her years as a proud homemaker to care for her children as well as her five beautiful grandchildren - RileyAnn, Alexander, Connor, Stephanie, and Hailey. She was faithful and loved member of Grace UMC since 1990 and was able to raise her family with the fellowship of the Church, as well as to share the love of God with those around her. She was the heart of her family and will be dearly missed by those who knew her. Even in these times of sorrow, we are comforted by the wonderful memories that we have of her baking at home and getting ready for holidays and times of quiet where she enjoyed a cup of tea and a good book. She will forever be in our hearts and prayers.A peaceful service celebrating her life will be held Saturday September 29th 2018 at Grace UMC in Newburgh starting at 2pm.
