John P. McCluskey

July 10, 1952 ~ May 22, 2024

John Patrick McCluskey, 71, died on May 22, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, SC after battling stage four lung cancer for the past year and a half.

John was born on July 10, 1952, in New York, NY, to Thomas and Mary McCluskey.  A proud New Yorker, he will always be remembered for his fighting spirit, big heart and loyalty.

He was predeceased by his parents and younger brother, James Raymond McCluskey.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin and Fredrick McCluskey; grandsons, Frederick, Matthew and Christopher McCluskey; his brother Liam (William) McCluskey, sisters Mary Bino and Patricia Viola, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Arrangements are with Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh, NY.  The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi in Newburgh, NY.  His burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY.
