Jonathan Edward Lopez, 33, departed this world peacefully, on March 26, 2024. Born on August 27, 1990, in Newburgh, NY. Jonathan's radiant smile and sense of humor illuminated the lives of those around him. The most profound moment of his life unfolded when he welcomed his son, Jalo, into the world, embracing the role of fatherhood with unparalleled delight and devotion. His greatest source of happiness emanated from the cherished moments they spent playing for hours on end. Jonathan has left behind an indelible mark on the hearts of his friends and family. He is survived by his son, Jalo Euriah Lopez; girlfriend, Nyja Gambrell; mother, Roxanne Lopez; grandmother, Blanca Alcantar; and caring aunts, Jennifer Lopez and Vikky Alcantar, as well as cousins Samantha Cottman, Jaisen Cottman, and Jaidalin Merino.

All services will take place at Grace Community Church, situated at 2839 Route 94 in Washingtonville, NY 10992. Visitation hours are scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held the following day, April 5, 2024, commencing at 11:30 am. A small gathering will take place afterward.
