Joseph E. Kovarnik, 81, passed away in Clayton, North Carolina, on April 18, 2026.
He is survived by his children, Katherine, Judith, Daniel, and Joseph; his brother, Edward; and his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine; his parents, Yolanda and Edward; his brother, Richard; and his sister, Barbara.
A graveside service will be held June 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family.
