Justa Laboy of Yorktown Heights, NY passed away in Newburgh, NY on November 10, 2024. She was 91 years old.

Justa was born on April 11, 1933 in Villalba, Puerto Rico to Patricia Rentas and Pedro Gonzalez. On April 2, 1955, she married Juan E. Laboy in Youngstown, Ohio.

Justa was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed sewing, collecting eagle figurines, working on puzzles, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Justa is survived by her children: Michael, Rosaline, and Enrique; six grandchildren: Justin, Michael, Andrew, Kevin, Dana and Jocelyn; nine great-grandchildren: Bennet, Layla, Kadence, Henry, Audrey, Nash, twins Willie and Cullen, and Max; her sister, Matilde Gonzalez; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Juan E. Laboy; her parents; three brothers: Adolfo, Mariano and Porfirio; and three sisters: Adela, Zoe and Maximina.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, November 14, 2024  from 4 - 7 PM. A funeral home service will take place on Friday, November 15 at 11 AM, followed by burial at Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
