She graduated from Montefiore Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1965 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was very proud of her nursing career. Her last place of employment was Park Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, and she felt that this was her home away from home. Her other passions were Sons of Italy which represented her Italian Heritage.

She loved books regarding History, Biographies, Circle the Word Books, Politics and Classical music. She loved collecting lighthouses. Her Beethoven met more than anything to her and grateful to Mike and his family for having him be a part of their lives.

She loved traveling to Myrtle Beach and Dewey Beach with her traveling buddy “Aunt Norma” Falanga and Robin Gillette. She also loved sailing in Mystic, CT.

Her motto in life was “Live, Love, be happy, give to others, and always be the buster”.
