Kathryn S. Hager

Kathryn "Kathy" Sue Hager, 77, a cherished retired clerk from Cassidy's Pharmacy, entered peacefully into rest on January 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy was born on April 17, 1947, in Newburgh, NY, where she spent the majority of her life. She also treasured her years in Little River, SC, with her late husband, Charles Henry Hager Jr. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph VanTassel and Margaret (O'Donnell) VanTassel.

Kathy is predeceased by her devoted husband of 53 years, Charles Henry Hager Jr., and her brother, Michael J. VanTassel. She leaves behind her beloved children, Timothy, Mark, and Jennifer; her daughters-in-law, Kerri Ann and Melissa Hager; sister-in-law, Cathy VanTassell, niece, Megan (VanTassel) Correa and her adoring grandchildren, Paul, Tyler, Kayley, Paige, and Brennan. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, each holding a special place in her heart.    They all loved their Nana/Grandma Kathy deeply.

Kathy was truly an amazing woman, known for her nurturing, selfless, loving, kind, and caring nature. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held to honor the wonderful memories she cultivated. Further details of the service will be shared with family and friends in due course.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathy's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of giving and kindness.

She will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved her.
