Mr. Kenneth Leon "Lee" Hayes, 68, passed away on September 14, 2025, in Valhalla, New York.

Born on July 24, 1957, in Cornwall, New York, Lee was the son of George and Alice Hayes. He grew up alongside his siblings and developed a strong work ethic and resilient spirit that would define him throughout his life. Known for being loving and strong, Lee approached every challenge with determination and heart.

Lee was a devoted husband to Michele Ayres and a proud father to his son Justin Hayes. He also shared meaningful bonds with his stepdaughter Alexis Ayres and stepson Billy Ayres. His family was central to his life, and he cherished the time they spent together.

He is also remembered by his sister Barbara Madonia and brother Paul Hayes. Lee was predeceased by his parents, George and Alice Hayes, as well as his brother Robert Hayes.

Outside of work and family life, Lee found joy in fishing and golfing—pastimes that brought him peace and connection with nature. Whether casting a line or walking the fairway, these moments reflected the calm strength he carried through life.

A hardworking man through and through, Lee's legacy lives on in those who knew him best. His memory will be held close by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
