Kevin William Seckerson was a Beloved Father, Son and friend to many. He lived the last 20 years in New Windsor, NY. He was 55 years old when he passed away on May 3, 2021 in his New Windsor, NY home. Kevin was born on December 16, 1965 to Kenneth William Seckerson and the late Carol Ann Seckerson in New Rochelle NY.


He started working at a young age and took pride in everything he did. He started as a taxi driver for Blue Bird Taxi, then moved on to his career as a Corrections Officer at Westchester County Corrections. This became his second home as he worked the 11-7 shift for 31 years of service. He retired February of 2021. He also was a life member of the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corp.


Kevin was a devoted Mets fan and a member of the 7 Line. He loved going to Mets Games with friends and family, loved to travel, and loved his dog Ryder and his pet reptiles. He loved cooking and drawing and had many passions in life.



Kevin is survived by his father Kenneth Seckerson; his sister Kim Florin (husband Rob Florin); his three beloved children: Amanda Seckerson, Kara Rydlewski (husband Derrick Rydlewski), Joseph Seckerson, and their mother Eileen Seckerson; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 16 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
