LINDA MOELLER

January 5, 1950 – June 24, 2025

Cornwall, NY

Linda Moeller, beloved wife of Richard K. Moeller, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home in Cornwall, NY.  She was 75 years old.  Linda was born on January 5, 1950 in Peekskill, NY and was one of five children of Anthony and Mary DiTerlizzi.

Linda graduated from Peekskill High School in Peekskill, NY and worked for The Hartford Insurance Company in the underwriting department before leaving the workforce to start a family.  Later in life she worked in retail at The Mays Department Store in Fishkill, NY and then as an assistant to her husband's accounting practice in Cornwall, NY.

Linda's greatest joy in life was to be an amazing mother to her three children, Lisa Bucci, Angela Nappi and Richard M. Moeller, as well as grandmother to Victoria Bucci.  After a difficult childhood, going above and beyond to treasure her children and love them unconditionally was her way of life.

Linda was an amazing baker, cook and seamstress.  Friends and family looked forward to her holiday baking and often placed orders in advance for a wide array of Christmas cookies.  Within our family, she was renowned for her "one-bowl" chocolate cake, as well as her hand-made manicotti.  As a seamstress, Linda was so proud to have made both of her daughters' wedding gowns, as well as a tuxedo for her son to wear to the weddings.  She also was an avid gardener and enjoyed planting all around the yard, while never being concerned about just how dirty she would get.  She enjoyed caring for her orchids that bloomed year after year and adorned her home.

Linda is survived by her husband, Richard K. Moeller, her three children, Lisa Bucci and her husband Jonathan of New Windsor NY, Angela Nappi and her husband Franz Scholten of Greenville, NY and Richard M. Moeller of Cornwall, NY, her grandchild Victoria Bucci of New Windsor, NY and her beloved pug, Ginger.  In addition, Linda is survived by her brother-in-law Hans Moeller and his wife Angela of Wantagh, NY, brother-in-law Thomas Moeller of Bovina Center, NY and many nieces and nephews.

In honoring her wishes, services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a perennial at your home and, each year when it blooms, remember the beautiful flower that was Linda.  Memorial contributions can be made in Linda's name to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, Inc.
